Karachi Cotton Association was built in 1932 and is situated at main I.I Chandigarh Road. Incorporated in 1933, this Association is the recognized Cotton Association for the whole of Pakistan. All sections of the trade are represented on the Board of Directors. Maintains a code of fair and equitable trading practices in the form of rules, regulations and bye-laws. Maintains a suitable set of standards for classification of Cotton and provides for just settlement of disputes. It handles matters affecting the general interests of the cotton trading community. It offers the buyers and sellers opportunities to obtain useful information regarding the ruling cotton prices and current market conditions throughout the world.
BUILDING COMFORTS was chosen for the roof waterproofing in June, 2009 by its then Chairman, Atif Dada. We were requested to complete only 1,000 sft works on roof using traditional 60 Pound Jute Felt. Heavy rains soon tested our work.
In December, 2009, we were issued work orders for a further 16,000 sft roof waterproofing using our Malaysian acrylic product, Greenseal 201. Our product was chosen out of three products due to following reasons:
